Low fat cheesy pizza
I love this recipe because it's easy, quick and in no way a sin. It tastes like real pizza but you don't have the gross, sickening and lethargic feeling afterwards. The cheese topping tastes like real, creamy cheese but is even lower in fat than most vegan cheese toppings. Most vegan cheeses and cheese toppings are made of nuts which are very high in fat. This cheese however is made from silken tofu which is very low in fat and low calorie in general. The soft, silken texture of the tofu makes the cheese really creamy so it melts in your mouth! The pita bread is so light for your digestion and needs no preparation which makes this recipe so quick and ideal for busy people! I made this for my non vegan boyfriend who normally likes really fatty foods and he LOVED this recipe! He said he likes it better than regular pizza!
